It is interesting the way you describe this piece. You see it as a person eternally striving, instead of eternally perfect. Have you ever been tossed into the air and fallen on your backside? It is not a comfortable feeling.
The last time I saw a ten was when I was driving in the city; and on the corner of 5th and 6th, I saw somebody drop a ten... I beat him down for it, but eventually gave it back... yes, those were my 3 seconds of glory. Other than the next 5 weeks in court for counts of aggrovated assult and robbery. But yeah, those were my 3 seconds of glory.
